Financial Reporting Specialist

This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our clients' financial records. As a Financial Reporting Specialist, you will maintain the general ledgers and statutory records of 4 legal entities established in France, adhering to local accounting standards (Local GAAP) and US Accounting Standards (US GAAP).

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for French entities, including manual entries in the ERP system.
  • Analyze monthly transactions and balances in USGAAP standards to support management control and record necessary adjustments.
  • Participate in monthly closings in USGAAP standards through entries, analyses, and reporting to be carried out according to the requests of management control and/or the group.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts for which the accounting team is responsible in the groups reconciliation tool (ARCS), according to the schedule determined by the group for each month.
Key Tasks
  • Perform annual accounting closing operations in French standards for the fiscal year ending on 12/31, via the secondary book of the ERP and reconcile the statutory balance sheet balances before April of the year following the fiscal year-end.
  • Respond to requests during internal, external, and statutory audits according to the auditors' schedule.
  • Prepare and validate the tax package in the tax declaration software before the tax deadline.
  • Prepare and validate the legal file for holding general meetings before 06/30 for the fiscal year ending on 12/31.
  • Reconcile monthly fixed assets and depreciation accounts with the auxiliary module of the Oracle ERP and record necessary adjustments.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is also essential. Experience working with ERP systems, such as Oracle, is highly desirable.
