Job Title:

Network Infrastructure Specialist

Overview

This is a permanent position in the field of network engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), firewalls, virtual private networks (VPNs), wireless networks, and virtual infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across servers, storage, and network devices.
  • Maintain and optimize Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives.
  • Document network and system configurations, procedures, and changes.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software procurement and support.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, AWS) are a plus.
  • Full driver's license (Travel required).
