About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Social Worker to join our team based in Dingwall Health Centre. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is committed to developing their career as a qualified social worker.

The successful candidate will be part of a busy but supportive team that works with adults over the age of 16 in the local area. The role involves conducting statutory, work, and person-centred outcome-focused assessments, managing complex situations, and dealing with challenging issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop plans to support individuals in need
  • Work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have good communication skills, evidence of potential to reach a high standard of professional verbal and written communication, and the ability to meet the demands of an Honours Degree Social Work programme.

You should also have literacy and numeracy skills, and at least one year's experience of working in a social care environment.
