Job Overview

This role involves providing expert support for IT systems and applications, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality services. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to resolve complex system issues and ensure prompt incident resolution.
  • Lead and facilitate meetings to discuss ticket reviews and service requests, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Manage change processes, including communication, documentation, and business sign-off, to maintain smooth operations.
  • Monitor IT systems, interfaces, and batch processes to prevent downtime and ensure continuous delivery.
  • Collaborate with vendors to track performance, escalate issues, and guarantee delivery quality.
  • Support security, compliance, and audit requirements by providing evidence and implementing improvements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date IT documentation, ensuring professional presentation and easy access.
  • Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and process improvement initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Provide basic networking and system monitoring support as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in IT support, systems administration, or application support roles.
  • Strong vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and Office 365 administration.
  • Familiarity with incident, change, and problem management processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • AWS or other cloud platform knowledge.
  • Basic networking and system monitoring experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Third-level qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years in a similar role.
