Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced Senior Python Software Developer to join the Synergy Recruitment Partners team in Dublin, providing software solutions systems and technology to the market.

This full-time role is a hybrid position with both healthcare and pension sectors. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Good technical knowledge
  2. Presentation skills
  3. A good problem-solving record
  4. Experience with adding new features to products/technologies to interlink with projects

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and developing code with performance optimisation, extensibility, and maintainability in mind
  2. Owning and driving development tasks, flexible and adaptable to fast-moving environments
  3. Functionally testing all developed code to a high standard
  4. Working with modern Python web frameworks, e.g., Django, Flask, and Python ORM

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience developing with Python
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Auto testing, test-driven development, and behaviour-driven development
  • Knowledge of modern Python frameworks: Django, Flask, Python ORM
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms desirable (Azure, GCP, and AWS)
  • High level of technical knowledge: Python knowledge amongst other technologies, and code review
