Store Operations Manager

The PositionThis is an exciting opportunity to join us as a Shop Floor Manager who will have responsibility for creating an inspiring and welcoming environment for colleagues and customers. You will be responsible for ensuring the store runs smoothly when the Store Manager or Deputy Manager is not present, and will coach and manage colleagues to enable them to deliver their daily priorities.
- Create a motivating and inclusive environment for colleagues and customers
- Be accountable for the store when the Store Manager/Deputy Manager are not present
- Ensure your team are fully trained and validated in their roles
- Drive a culture of zero food waste and manage date codes to ensure no food suitable for human consumption goes to waste
- Recruit top-performing colleagues for the team and select those passionate about delivering excellent customer service
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing reports and systems to drive improvements for customers and colleagues
- Managing stock control activities and warehouse layout to ensure tasks are completed right first time
- Root causing any incorrect prices, overcharges, refunds and label routines to ensure customers are charged the correct price
- Recognising excellent service and providing feedback where necessary
To succeed in this role, you should have a proven track record of being passionate about delivering exceptional results for customers and colleagues, adaptable and agile in your thinking, and able to deliver key objectives in a fast-paced environment.
