Job Summary:

This role involves providing care and support to residents in a team environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the nursing staff to deliver high-quality person-centred care, meeting the needs of our residents.

Key responsibilities include getting to know residents' interests and needs, providing attention, support and companionship, promoting mobility, assisting with personal care and helping residents eat, drink and achieve physical comfort.

\

Good communication skills are essential for developing strong relationships between residents, their families and our staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred care to meet the individual needs of residents\
  • Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality care\
  • Promote the mobility of residents and assist as necessary\
  • Assist residents with personal appearance/hygiene needs\
  • Enable and assist residents to eat/drink and achieve physical comfort\
  • Participate in and organise social activities\
  • Develop good relationships with residents and their families\
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management\
  • Contribute to the overall well-being of our residents\
