Project Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project management group, you will play a crucial role in delivering strategic and important projects for leading life science & technology companies.

As a Project Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to provide expert engineering services to our clients, ensuring the maximum availability of site process equipment and utilities.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage capital engineering projects within site following the project lifecycle approach.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing capital engineering projects within site following the project lifecycle approach
  • Supporting engineering teams in controlling uptime of process equipment and optimising efficiencies both in equipment and process performance
  • Providing process engineering support and technical troubleshooting within the site
  • Improving operations and reliability of equipment and processes through successful identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Leadership of process equipment commissioning and validation activities
  • Identification and project management of continuous improvement projects
  • Preparation of feasibility studies and budget management for all assigned projects
  • Management and negotiation of external contracts and contractors
  • Support of major site initiatives and sites core goals

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline (Mechanical/Chemical/Process)
  • Experience in API Manufacturing / OSD Manufacturing / Bio Pharm
  • Proven track record in delivering Capital Projects - new equipment, utilities, facilities, etc.
  • Good knowledge of change control and C&Q processes/execution
