Job Summary

The role of the Community Nurse is to provide high-quality patient care in a community setting. This involves delivering clinical services that meet best practice standards and maintaining accurate electronic patient records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic patient records
  • Deliver timely reports after visits to clients and stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, utilizing clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills to provide a seamless service
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience with IV therapy, including care of central venous access devices
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development
  • Effective administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Word and email
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
