Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Intellectual Disability ServicesWe are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Peamount Healthcare, working in our Intellectual Disability Services. As a valued member of our nursing team, you will provide comprehensive care to residents, leading by example and promoting best practice throughout the service.
About the Role:
- Provide high-quality clinical care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered care.
- Develop and maintain robust policies and procedures to ensure exceptional care standards.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, driving positive change within the service.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Intellectual Disability) from a reputable institution.
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in intellectual disability nursing, preferably in a leadership or specialist role.
- Postgraduate qualification in nurse practitioner studies or equivalent.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality care, with a focus on patient outcomes and satisfaction.
