Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:

We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Peamount Healthcare, working in our Intellectual Disability Services. As a valued member of our nursing team, you will provide comprehensive care to residents, leading by example and promoting best practice throughout the service.

About the Role:

• Provide high-quality clinical care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centered care.
• Develop and maintain robust policies and procedures to ensure exceptional care standards.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, driving positive change within the service.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Intellectual Disability) from a reputable institution.
• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in intellectual disability nursing, preferably in a leadership or specialist role.
• Postgraduate qualification in nurse practitioner studies or equivalent.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality care, with a focus on patient outcomes and satisfaction.
