Provide a clean and comfortable living environment for residents.
Primary Duties:- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout all areas.
- Carry out routine housekeeping tasks including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, polishing, and mopping surfaces and equipment.
- Dispose of household and hazardous materials responsibly, ensuring timely collection, cleaning, and storage in a sanitary condition at all times.
- Address spills promptly and follow safety protocols.
- Adhere to established infection control policies and procedures, staying informed about new best practices.
- Record and report any detected issues impacting service excellence.
Required Education:
A valid Infection Control Certificate is necessary. Other relevant certifications like Chemical Awareness, Manual and Resident Moving & Handling, and Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults can be advantageous. If needed, training will be provided.
Desirable Skills and Qualities:
Previous experience in caring for the elderly in a residential setting is beneficial.
A strong desire to deliver outstanding care to seniors and possess good communication skills are vital.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
