Medical Specialist in Perinatal Pathology

A dedicated and experienced Consultant Histopathologist with a special interest in Perinatal Pathology is sought to join our medical team at a leading maternity hospital.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care while contributing to the development of innovative medical practices.
Key Responsibilities- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team under the direction of the Master/CEO, addressing current deficiencies and providing clinical leadership in MDT context.
- Responsibility for the organisation and provision of Perinatal Pathology, including education, training, and audit.
- Contribute to Clinical Audit Committee and Ethics Committee as required, promoting continuous professional development.
- Full registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)—Specialist Division in Histopathology.
- Be fully trained to the level of Consultant Histopathologist, demonstrating leadership and expertise in histopathology.
- A highly flexible contract, enabling consultants to choose a variety of different work patterns.
- Up to €12,000 CME and €8,000 research grant, ensuring ongoing education and professional growth.
- 30 days annual leave, 10 public holidays, and Continuous Medical Education leave.
€231,215 - €277,036 basic salary scale, plus additional remuneration for on-call duties and overtime as applicable.
