Opportunity

A dedicated and experienced Consultant Histopathologist with a special interest in Perinatal Pathology is sought to join our medical team at a leading maternity hospital.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care while contributing to the development of innovative medical practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team under the direction of the Master/CEO, addressing current deficiencies and providing clinical leadership in MDT context.
  • Responsibility for the organisation and provision of Perinatal Pathology, including education, training, and audit.
  • Contribute to Clinical Audit Committee and Ethics Committee as required, promoting continuous professional development.
Requirements
  1. Full registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)—Specialist Division in Histopathology.
  2. Be fully trained to the level of Consultant Histopathologist, demonstrating leadership and expertise in histopathology.

Salary Information
