Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our housekeeping team as a Linen Porter. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient collection, distribution, and maintenance of clean and soiled linens throughout the establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, sort, and distribute clean and soiled linens to designated areas.
  • Maintain an organized and well-stocked linen storage area.
  • Assist with the receiving and storage of laundry deliveries.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques.
  • Work closely with housekeeping and laundry staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock control of linens and towels.
  • Dispose of worn-out or unusable linen according to established procedures.
  • Uphold cleanliness and tidiness in all linen-related areas.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy loads.
  • Understanding of hygiene and safety regulations.
