We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Third Party Governance Consultant.

Job Overview

This is a critical position within our organization, focusing on third-party risk management for our asset management business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective oversight and governance of our third-party relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Oversight of all third-party and intercompany services relevant to our legal entity, including delegates such as Investment Managers and Distributors.
  • Driving, overseeing, and supporting all third-party lifecycle activities, including risk assessments, due diligence, contracting, and ongoing monitoring, in close collaboration with our designated vendor managers.
  • Serving as a point of escalation for issues and escalating as applicable to our Designated Person, Senior Management, and/or Governance Committees.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Comprehensive experience in a third-party risk management and/or oversight role at a global asset manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of service provider requirements supporting Front, Middle, and Back Office investment management services, including risk assessments, due diligence, service oversight, and governance of critical third parties.
  • Strong understanding of the UK and EU regulatory environment, specifically the CBI Outsourcing Guidelines (CP138) and other regulations related to third-party management and vendor risk management.

  • A collaborative team player with exceptional relationship building skills, able to quickly gain trust and manage stakeholders effectively both internally and externally with third parties.
  • The ability to work independently, proactively, and on own initiative, as well as supporting other team members as required.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
