Job Description Summary

We are seeking a qualified Full-Time Basic Grade/Part-Time Senior Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to join our dedicated team and community in Clones, Monaghan. As a Speech Therapist, you will provide family-centred therapy, including assessment and intervention for children and young people through individual and group sessions, primarily in a clinic setting with occasional community-based work.

You will collaborate with the Speech & Language Therapy and Multidisciplinary teams in the planning, development, and delivery of professional services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate and confidential client records using a computerised clinical records system;
  • Supporting and liaising with the clinical team regarding service delivery;
  • Participating in clinical team meetings, case conferences, and other relevant service meetings;
  • Assisting in the development of parent/teacher training and advice sessions;
  • Ensuring the upkeep of therapy rooms and equipment, maintaining high safety standards;
  • Engaging in continuous professional development (CPD) through training and learning opportunities;
  • Assisting with service development initiatives;
  • Occasionally delivering training workshops for parents and teachers;
  • Contributing to promotional and media communication efforts;
  • Performing any other reasonable duties associated with the role of a Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist;
  • Reporting directly to the Clinical Services Manager.
