Frank Keane Volkswagen is seeking ambitious and career-oriented individuals to work in our state-of-the-art dealership.

As a technician at Frank Keane Volkswagen, you will have the opportunity to progress your career through training and development in a fast-paced, modern dealership. We are actively looking to accelerate the growth of our technicians through comprehensive training programs that include High Voltage training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks as outlined on the job card with efficiency and accuracy, adhering to dealership and Volkswagen standards.
  • Communicate effectively with parts departments to obtain required parts, inform workshop managers if vehicles are awaiting parts, and pursue special orders if necessary.

Problem-solving and Repair:

Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs after confirming authorization from customers. Additionally, save and tag any parts under warranty or requested by customers.

Vehicle Health Checks:

Examine vehicles and conduct vehicle health checks to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Notify service advisors immediately if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within promised timeframes.

Maintenance and Training:

Road-test vehicles to spot-check performed work. Stay updated on Volkswagen technical bulletins and attend factory-sponsored training classes to maintain professional development.

Work Environment:

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
