Our organisation seeks a seasoned Legal Director to join its team in Dublin, Ireland. This senior role offers a unique blend of challenge and opportunity, working closely with the General Counsel and other senior leaders.
The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of PQE and extensive experience in private practice and/or in-house across corporate, financial regulation, pensions, property and banking and finance. They must be able to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders and provide robust legal advice to C-Suite executives.
Main Responsibilities- Collaborate with the GC on key strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Develop and implement comprehensive legal strategies to mitigate risks
- Lead the legal function, providing guidance on contract negotiation and management
- Offer expert legal advice to internal stakeholders, addressing regulatory and compliance matters
- Ensure that all contractual agreements comply with regulatory requirements and company policies
Candidates with experience in financial services and a deep understanding of the Irish regulatory framework are strongly preferred. We value diverse backgrounds and experiences, particularly in areas such as corporate, financial regulation, employment, pensions, property and banking and finance.
