Job Overview:

Mechanical Design Engineers play a pivotal role in crafting innovative electrical products tailored to client specifications.

A Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for preparing technical specifications, CAD drawings, and engineering documentation for client approval and internal use.

You will collaborate closely with multiple departments including Production, R&D, and Quality to deliver high-standard, customized engineering solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed technical specifications, CAD designs, and engineering documentation for client review and internal reference.
  • Liaise with the R&D team to identify opportunities for process and product enhancements.
  • Optimize mechanical design to meet client expectations and performance targets.
  • Develop clear manufacturing instructions and support factory operations to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Maintain and update relevant technical documentation and specifications.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between engineering and production teams to guarantee quality and efficiency in manufacturing.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in design software such as CREO (or similar CAD tools).
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial design environment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with internal standards, product conformity, and quality control metrics.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel for business purposes as required.
  • A full clean driving license is preferable.
