Role Overview

In this position, you will be responsible for providing medical oversight and direction to the laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical guidance and oversight to laboratory personnel to ensure accurate and timely test results.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control programs to maintain accreditation standards.
  • Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, patients, and sponsors.
  • Stay up-to-date with new medical advancements, technologies, and testing methodologies relevant to high-complexity clinical laboratories.


Requirements
  • MD or DO degree with a valid and unrestricted U.S. medical license.
  • Board-certified in Pathology, Clinical Pathology, or another relevant specialty.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-complexity clinical laboratory, with at least 2 years in a medical director role.
