We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our innovative primary care team in Munster.

About the Role

This is a part-time or full-time locum position available from February onwards. The working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8am-8pm, and Saturdays, 8am-1pm.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and diverse multi-professional team driving innovation in an enhanced primary care model based on the patient-centered medical home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council, in the division of General Practice.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant clinical experience (inclusive of GP Training).
  • Experience working with multi-professional, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience facilitating patient pathways from community to tertiary care.
  • Develop, apply, and review an evidence-based approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Effective planning and organizing skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex tasks.
  • Operate with professional and personal integrity, coupled with humility and strong working relationships.
  • Advocate for all aspects of patient care.
