This is a 3-year Level 7 Bachelor of Science in Polymer Technology Apprenticeship Programme that offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in quality control, processing, and advanced production techniques.
As an Insulation Production Specialist, you will work closely with our team to achieve levels of performance and product quality in line with KPIs. You will also be responsible for carrying out chemical and facer trials on the production line and seeing them through to full-scale production.
Your duties will include monitoring chemical Goods Inwards, ensuring all products meet the required specification, and undertaking any other tasks appropriate to the position as requested by management.
Key to this role is running to formulation setup sheets, ensuring key parameters such as pressure, temperatures, gel time, and laminator thickness are met.
You must have excellent communication skills, good computer knowledge, and excellent attention to detail. You should also demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving, and be a team player with strong enthusiasm.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of process improvement projects and be able to report in a timely and tidy manner.
