Our client, a renowned firm of Accountants and Business Advisors, seeks an exceptional Forensic Accounting professional to join their team due to sustained growth.

To excel in this role, you will require at least 2 years of experience in Forensic Accounting, preferably in a firm, and hold a recognised accounting qualification with some post-qualified experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a portfolio of complex investigation and dispute cases.
  • Develop and implement effective case strategies and work plans.
  • Collect and critically evaluate evidence, collaborating with third-party experts when necessary.
  • Apply forensic analysis to financial data and other relevant evidence.
  • Produce high-quality, concise reports and outputs for formal purposes, including court proceedings.
  • Maintain meticulous workpapers and organised evidence and case files.
  • Support business development efforts and foster relationships with clients and intermediaries.
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues.
  • Contribute to the financial management of the unit, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and debtor management.

Requirements:

  • A qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with 2-3 years of post-qualified experience.
  • Experience in forensic accounting and investigation, ideally 2+ years.
  • The ability to swiftly analyse and synthesise complex information.
  • Proven ability to manage a team while delivering multiple assignments to a diverse client base.
  • Exceptional report writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to build trusted relationships with clients and intermediaries, combined with strong commercial acumen.
  • A proactive attitude and approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
