Indirect Tax Manager

This role offers a unique opportunity to take a leading position in indirect tax compliance for UK and Ireland businesses. As an Indirect Tax Manager, you will oversee the accurate and timely submission of returns, manage a team of Tax Accountants, and support local accounting and finance teams with business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have broad expertise in all areas of indirect tax, solid understanding of accounting principles, and strong IT skills with experience of SAP and MS Excel. You will be able to deal with complex reporting lines and operating models, be customer-focused, and technically up-to-date with industry and legislative changes.

Key responsibilities include overseeing indirect tax compliance reporting operations, managing tax risks, identifying improvements to VAT and indirect tax processes and systems, and working with IT services teams to support integrity of financial systems.

You will also be responsible for anticipating and assessing industry developments and legislation changes in indirect tax and advising the business accordingly.
