Operations Excellence Manager

We are seeking a seasoned manufacturing expert to join our team as they embark on an expansion project. This key role ensures efficient production, high-quality output, and a strong culture of continuous improvement.
">Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimising manufacturing processes, implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), managing production teams, and driving lean manufacturing initiatives.
">This is a fully onsite position with a focus on scaling up operations, including facility layout planning and recruitment of mechanical and electrical assembly teams.
">The ideal candidate will possess a Level 7 Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field and have at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing management role, preferably within electro-mechanical or custom-built industrial equipment environments.
">A strong background in metal fabrication is advantageous, along with practical experience applying lean principles and 5S methodology.
">The successful candidate will be skilled in developing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes and SOPs, as well as leading, coaching, and building effective production teams.
">They will also possess strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, with systems proficiency in production planning and resource management tools.
