Senior Mechanical Design Expert

We are seeking a skilled and experienced mechanical design expert to lead our team at a global consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity for a career-driven individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality mechanical designs and building services strategies.

  • Lead and manage mechanical design and building services strategies across varied project types, ensuring project performance, quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Deliver high-quality mechanical designs across sectors such as industrial, commercial, residential, retail, healthcare, and education, conducting site visits and technical assessments as required.
  • Prepare and review detailed engineering calculations, specifications, and reports, coordinating with internal teams and liaising with suppliers and contractors on technical matters.
  • Maintain strong client communication, ensuring alignment from concept to completion, and represent the company at client meetings, surveys, and technical presentations.
  • Mentor junior engineers, offering technical guidance and promoting internal development.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 7 or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, minimum 5 years experience in a mechanical engineering or building services role, and proven background in design for building services and mechanical systems. Strong knowledge of industry standards and mechanical systems design software is essential.
