Chief Employee Relations Officer

We are currently recruiting for a key role in our Human Resources department. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and duties of the HR team.
- Cultivate a culture of employee engagement through effective communication, people management, and the implementation of initiatives aimed at improving the working environment.
- Ensure that all employee queries are responded to promptly.
- Advise and support Heads of Department on managing their teams, including recruitment, training, performance management, employee development, and talent planning.
- Manage and monitor the recruitment process, including advertising, screening, selection, and onboarding.
- Ensure new employees receive necessary documentation and training prior to commencement and onboarding.
- Maintain and keep up-to-date all employee files, ensuring compliance with statutory procedures.
- Ensure the hotel complies with all training requirements, arranging refresher training as necessary.
- Assist in managing the disciplinary process.
- Ensure employee grievances are managed appropriately, liaising with relevant Directors as required.
- Implement and deliver group-wide HR projects/initiatives effectively.
- Maintain open, regular, transparent communication with HODs and the management team.
- Monitor and manage absenteeism in the hotel.
The successful candidate will possess:
- A degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior HR role in a 4/5* hotel.
- Good knowledge of employment law and best practice.
- Current legal status to live and work in Ireland without restrictions.
- Excellent leadership and conflict management skills.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
