As a key member of our clinical team, we are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality assessments and interventions for individuals with suspected Neurodevelopmental conditions.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent CORU registered qualification. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria, and experience working with children and adults with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties in a clinical setting.

We offer Full and Part-Time vacancies for this role, and the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments using established diagnostic tools, such as ADOS-2/ADI-R, on behalf of the relevant authorities. They will also write up assessment reports in a timely and professional manner, providing appropriate recommendations and interventions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising and supporting junior staff members, depending on their background and qualifications. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments using established diagnostic tools
  • Write up assessment reports in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide appropriate recommendations and interventions
  • Supervise and support junior staff members (dependent on experience)
Requirements:
  • BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent CORU registered qualification
  • Eligible to work in Ireland
  • Experience in conducting diagnostic Neurodevelopmental/Specialist developmental assessments with children
  • Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
