We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our adult safeguarding team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in protecting and advocating for at-risk adults by screening and assessing safeguarding concerns related to elder abuse, neglect, financial exploitation, and coercive control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screening and assessing safeguarding concerns related to elder abuse, neglect, financial exploitation, and coercive control.
  • Conducting risk assessments, triaging cases, and making recommendations for further intervention.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals, community partners, and legal services.
  • Engaging with families, caregivers, and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Providing guidance and supporting decision-making based on national safeguarding policies and frameworks.
  • Maintaining clear, professional, and accurate documentation and case notes.
Essential Criteria:
  • CORU registered Social Worker (essential).
  • Proven experience in adult safeguarding, social work leadership, or related fields (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of HSE Safeguarding Policy, risk assessment, and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
