Water Hygiene Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of water hygiene in accordance with regulatory requirements.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of water treatment systems, thermodynamic principles, and microbiological processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality services while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of water hygiene best practices and regulatory requirements;
- Conducting regular inspections of water outlets, TMVs, cold-water storage tanks, and hot water storage vessels;
- Carrying out monitoring and maintenance tasks as part of a Legionella Control Program;
- Utilizing PDA and web-based electronic logbook systems to ensure accurate data recording;
- Supporting remediation works as required;
- Traveling to multiple sites to perform duties;
- Current Full UK Driver's Licence;
- Able to pass a DBS check;
- Demonstrated experience in planned maintenance checks completed in accordance with ACOP L8 & HSG 274;
- Confidence in software utilization and good IT literacy;
- City & Guilds or similar accredited Legionella control training awareness training;
- Accredited training course on servicing and maintenance of thermostatic mixing valves;
- HSE approved training in confined spaces;
