Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered on the general division of the nurses' register maintained by NMBI.
  • Registered on the Advanced Nurse Practitioner division of the NMBI register.
  • Hold an MSc in Nursing (Advanced Practice) or equivalent qualification.
  • Possess a Level 9 NFQ Postgraduate Diploma in Emergency Department Nursing.
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience in an emergency setting.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise and professional competence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of fostering positive engagement with patients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide expert care to patients within the emergency department.
  • To work closely with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
