The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting service users in their daily lives and choices through a person-centred approach
  • Maintaining the health and well-being of each service user, including responding to general ill health and taking appropriate action
  • Creating a home-like atmosphere that fosters interaction among residents and staff
  • Fostering participation in local activities and leisure pursuits
  • Developing good relationships between service users and their families/carers, maintaining liaison as required
  • Keeping accurate records and making reports on attendance, finances, accidents/incidents, and medication

Requirements include:

  • An Bord Altranais Registration (RNID/RGN/RPN eligible)
  • Full Clean Driving Licence

Remuneration will be in line with the Staff Nurse HSE Consolidated Payscales, offering a competitive salary with premium rates for applicable shifts.
