We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in data engineering and management to join our team.

About the Role

This position involves working on a major enterprise application, leveraging SQL Server and Snowflake. It will be a technically challenging role that requires strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Discover, create, and manage new datasets by extracting, transforming, combining, and loading data from various heterogeneous data sources while ensuring data integrity, availability, and auditability.
  2. Design, implement, and maintain innovative cloud-based data solutions for large and varied datasets on platforms hosted on AWS (native and 3rd party like Snowflake data warehouse), using native services, cloud-capable ETL, and other data management tools.
  3. Maintain a hybrid environment that includes legacy data technologies/platforms while migrating data, pipelines, and products to cloud-based solutions.
  4. Comprehensively handle agile development lifecycle by designing, coding, testing, and implementing iterative solutions.
  5. Identify gaps and improvement opportunities in data operations and implement solutions using automation.
Technical Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in Cloud data engineering and relevant data technologies.
  • Experienced in Data warehousing, building ETL pipelines, and overall data management.
  • Demonstrable experience using SQL and knowledge of NOSQL.
  • Experienced with Cloud platforms and services e.g., building data lake in AWS, building Cloud-based data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, cloud data pipelines using tools like Matillion, Glue, etc.
  • Experience in streaming data is a plus. Past experiences working on data platforms such as SQL Server using tools and methodologies like SSIS, Stored Procedures, etc., are pluses.

  • Technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Desire to develop your own knowledge by keeping abreast of latest development tools and techniques, attending workshops, and reviewing technical publications.
