Responsibilities:
Supervise the maintenance and functionality of company facilities, ensuring all buildings, equipment, and systems are in good working order.
Oversee building repairs, renovations, and general maintenance activities, minimizing disruption to business operations Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors for facility-related services, including maintenance, cleaning, security, and utilities Monitor and manage facility budgets, ensuring cost-effective procurement of materials and services Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices Conduct regular inspections to identify areas requiring maintenance or improvement and take appropriate action Produce annual budget reports for facilities, submitting updates regularly to management Develop reporting tools to track Facility/maintenance issues Implement and maintain effective health and safety policies and procedures Conduct regular health and safety risk assessments and audits across sites Identify hazards and implement corrective measures Ensure employees receive proper health and safety training and are aware of their responsibilities regarding workplace safety Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, or near-misses, and ensure actions are taken to prevent recurrence Maintain accurate health and safety records, including incident reports, inspection logs, and training documentation Ensure PPE and safety equipment are available and properly used across all sites Develop reporting tools to track H&S issues Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and drills, fire safety protocols, and first aid provisions Work with executive management on disaster recovery planning Ensure emergency systems, such as fire alarms, extinguishers, and exit routes, are regularly inspected and maintained in working condition Foster a culture of safety awareness and compliance among employees and contractors Work closely with HR and Operations departments to ensure seamless integration of safety and facility-related procedures Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 3+ years of experience in facilities management and/or health & safety, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
