Project Town Planner Job Summary">

The role of Project Town Planner is to provide comprehensive planning consultancy services supporting projects during the planning phase and providing tailored solutions for clients.

As a key member of our Planning team, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals, and reviewing submissions related to Development Plans and Local Area Plans.

You will also work effectively both independently and as part of a team to ensure projects are completed on time, collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Additionally, you will interpret and evaluate planning policies, providing informed recommendations to colleagues and build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Hold a recognised planning qualification (IPI or RTPI accredited)
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience
  • Solid understanding of the Irish planning system and key environmental considerations
  • Experience in offering planning-related advice
  • Knowledge of planning, development, and environmental issues
  • Proficient in drafting reports and making well-rounded recommendations
  • Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships
