This role involves conducting comprehensive maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of heavy machinery, as well as providing technical support to customers where required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct thorough maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy machinery, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in the equipment, applying knowledge of electrics, electronics, and hydraulics to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical guidance to customers on optimal equipment usage and address inquiries promptly, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
  • Safety and Maintenance: Maintain the highest standards of safety and maintenance in all tasks and operations, adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the team to contribute to the overall success and efficiency of our company, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and service history, utilizing digital tools to streamline documentation processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in the repair of heavy machinery is essential for this role.
  • Mechanical Skills: Excellent all-round mechanical skills, including knowledge of electrics, electronics, and hydraulics.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Licensing: A valid driving license is required for this position.

Working Hours: 41.5 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 7:30 am – 5 pm & Friday 7:30 am – 4 pm.
