Delivering quality care and support is at the heart of this role as a Healthcare Support Worker. You will be part of a dedicated team providing essential assistance to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support services to clients, including toileting, meal preparation and mobility assistance
  • Observe, listen and engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences

You will work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of care services, receiving training and guidance as needed. This may include areas such as stoma and catheter care, dementia and Alzheimer's care, and infection prevention and control.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • QQI Level 5 qualification in healthcare or equivalent
  • Driver's license and access to reliable transportation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The ideal candidate will be punctual, organized and able to manage time effectively, communicate any changes or concerns regarding client care, and adhere to health and safety protocols.
