TN Ireland's Power Division is looking for an experienced Overhead Power Lines Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OHL maintenance techniques and practices, as well as experience working within the OHL industry at an operative level.

The successful applicant will be responsible for facilitating effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, assessing OHL workers to ensure compliance with current legislation and company standards, and managing the Circet Training Database online platform for training matrix, gap analysis, and expiring training.

A key aspect of this role is producing yearly training programs for OHL training activity, promoting OHL training and sourcing work where appropriate, and ensuring the development of capabilities through continuing professional development. The individual will also be responsible for creating and preparing certification documents.

Requirements:
  1. Management or Supervision Qualification and Train the Trainer Qualification
  2. Experience working within the OHL industry at an operative level
  3. Knowledge of client authorizations coding and approvals levels
  4. Significant experience maintaining OHL equipment and applying relevant safety precautions
  5. Sound knowledge of OHL and maintenance/installation techniques and practices
  6. Practical competence in the application of OHL maintenance techniques and practices
  7. Able to lead and manage work teams
  8. Previous training experience and knowledge sharing, development, and coaching of others
  9. Hold a Full Driver's License
  10. Competent in MS Office Excel, Word, Outlook, and training database platforms
