About the Job

We are seeking an accomplished and experienced culinary professional to fill a Sous Chef position. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently met.

  • Implement efficient kitchen management practices, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef in designing innovative menu cycles, incorporating diverse culinary options while controlling costs.
  • Manage supplier relationships, verifying that only approved suppliers are utilized.
  • Assist in conducting thorough stock-takes as necessary.
Key Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a professional kitchen or high-volume catering environment.
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations effectively in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with staff and customers at all levels.
  • NVQ Level 1,2 & 3 or equivalent qualifications.
