We are seeking a talented Sommelier to join our Food and Beverage Team at Adare Manor. As a luxury resort, we pride ourselves on offering an exceptional dining experience to our guests, and our wine cellar is a key part of this.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of wine and a passion for sharing their knowledge with others. They will be responsible for overseeing the wine cellar, selecting wines for the menu, and working closely with the Head Sommelier to create a memorable wine experience for our guests.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, able to work under pressure, and has excellent communication skills. A WSET/CMS Level 2 (or equivalent) certification is required, as well as at least 2 years' experience in the luxury hospitality industry.

Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our guests, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the wine cellar and maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness
  • Select wines for the menu and ensure they are properly stored and served
  • Collaborate with the Head Sommelier to develop a wine program that meets guest needs
  • Design and implement wine training programs for staff
  • Maintain accurate records of wine inventory and sales
