Fleet Manager Role Overview
A leading provider of roadside assistance and motoring services in Ireland is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to join their Technical Services, Fleet & Supply Chain Team. This opportunity plays a key role in managing a national vehicle fleet that supports critical frontline services. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Technical Services, Fleet & Supply Chain and contribute to operational efficiency through proactive fleet management.

About the Role:
The Fleet Manager will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the company's vehicle fleet, including procurement, servicing, and disposal. They will coordinate scheduled maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and compliance. Additionally, they will ensure all vehicles maintain valid licensing, registration, insurance, and documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of the company's vehicle fleet.
  • Coordinate scheduled maintenance and inspections.
  • Ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and compliance.
  • Liaise with external service providers and suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of fleet activities.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or related field. A minimum of 3 years' recent experience in a transport management or supervisory role is required. In-depth knowledge of the transport or vehicle servicing industry and technical knowledge of cars and vans are strong advantages. Full B Driving Licence is mandatory.
