Manufacturing Engineering Technician Job

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all production equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

  • Maintain and optimize production equipment to maximize quality, output, and yield.
  • Apply root cause analysis to troubleshoot production line issues and repair or replace equipment efficiently.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance activities to prevent downtime.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to communicate and manage operational challenges.
  • Document work clearly and concisely in accordance with industry standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to drive process efficiencies and excellence.

This role requires a technical skillset of a mechanical nature, a compliance mindset, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have good communication and influencing skills, as well as the ability to work independently.

Requirements:
  • NFQ Level 6 qualification in technology, engineering, or similar.
  • Technical expertise in mechanical systems.
  • Compliance understanding and high level of attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
