Application Security Specialist

This is a challenging role that involves working with the client's Attack Surface Management team to identify and mitigate application security risks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and be proficient in utilizing tools such as Checkmarx, SonarQube, Jira & ServiceNow.

The successful candidate will operate as an Application Security Evangelist, providing manual code assessment, reviews, and automated application security services. They will also work closely with development teams to remediate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Conducting in-depth analysis of application-level security risks and developing targeted mitigation strategies
• Collaborating with development teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
• Providing training and guidance on secure coding practices and vulnerability management
• Staying up-to-date with emerging security threats and industry trends to ensure the most effective risk-based approach

• Development experience and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and technology such as Jenkins, Harness, Bitbucket, Artifactory
• Experience with Agile methodologies and the New Ways of Working framework
