
Mental Health Support Specialist

Emotional well-being is a vital component of overall health. As a primary care counsellor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals and communities to achieve optimal mental health.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver solution-focused therapy sessions to clients presenting with various mental health concerns.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support networks.
- Contribute to creating an inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes cultural sensitivity.
Requirements:
- Hold a recognised qualification at Level 7 (QQI) or equivalent in a relevant human science discipline.
- Possess two years' experience in a relevant setting post-qualification (exceptions apply for certain postgraduate qualifications).
- Be an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) or a relevant body within ICP.
- Hold a postgraduate qualification in counselling psychology or clinical psychology, as recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
