Stockyard Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Stockyard Specialist to join our operations team in Limerick. This full-time role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our yard and stores.

• Loading and offloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Checking and storing incoming stock accurately and promptly.
• Maintaining stock records and updating inventory regularly.
• Organising the yard and stores for easy access and optimal use.
• Ensuring the yard and stores are clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
• Operating a forklift to move materials as required.
• Performing routine checks on forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
• Following health & safety rules and promoting safe practices within the workplace.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as necessary.

• Experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license is essential.
• Candidates aged 25+ are preferred due to insurance requirements.
• Manual Handling and forklift licenses are advantageous (training available).
• Knowledge of safe loading/unloading techniques is crucial.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Attention to detail when checking and storing stock.
• Awareness of health & safety regulations.
• Proactive in maintaining work areas cleanliness and tidiness.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
