Key Role in Speech Therapy

We are seeking an experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist to fill a key position within our expanding acute service.

This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to provide specialist SLT assessment and intervention for adults across various clinical presentations, including stroke, respiratory, medical, surgical, and critical care.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting patients with communication and swallowing difficulties, often in complex and high-acuity settings.

  • Deliver advanced clinical assessment and management of adults with communication and/or swallowing disorders.
  • Support service delivery across multiple wards, working closely with multidisciplinary team colleagues to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
  • Lead on the development and implementation of evidence-based SLT practices, ensuring excellence in speech therapy services.
  • Supervise and support staff grade therapists and students, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Contribute to service evaluation, audits, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives, driving continuous improvement in speech therapy services.
