Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering public health and social care services in the newly established HSE South West health region.

This region covers Cork and Kerry, where over 700,000 people reside.

As a senior house officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the provision of acute hospital care for the population across both counties.

  • Mallow General Hospital
  • University Hospital Kerry
  • Voluntary hospitals including Mercy University Hospital and South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, experience in healthcare management, and a strong academic background. The Department of Population and Public Health is also now aligned with this health region.
