Accountant Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team as a qualified accountant. The role involves working closely with clients to provide expert accounting advice, ensuring timely delivery of services and maintaining professional relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the accounts team in various tasks from planning to completion
  • Identify and address accounting matters where necessary, referring complex issues to managers or partners
  • Prepare management accounts from incomplete records
  • Liaise directly with clients to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain strong relationships
  • Resolve client queries efficiently and plan workloads effectively
  • Analyse key information using Excel spreadsheets
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files
  • Prepare accounts for complex clients
  • Cater to corporate and personal tax compliance needs, including tax planning
  • Manage VAT returns, bank reconciliations, and other ad-hoc tasks
Requirements
  • Part-qualified/qualified ACCA or ACA with at least 2 years' experience in a similar role
