Mechanical Engineer Role Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to fill a key position in our organization.

  • Duties include developing and implementing engineering solutions that meet customer needs, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting technical drawings for small and large projects.
  • Providing advice on design modifications to suit manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
  • Programming CNC machines using 2D or 3D machine-specific software to optimise production efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting daily production issues and identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Gathering KPIs to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with internal teams from purchase order to shipment to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Managing multiple projects and maintaining accurate records of all process steps.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 8 qualification in Mechanical, Precision, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 3+ years' experience in an engineering role (account management or production-focused).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D modelling software for machine programming.
  • Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects of varying sizes.
