Key Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to manage our team's payroll and accounting functions. This is a fully office-based role ideal for candidates with strong experience in payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, and data entry.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll for 75 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure GDPR compliance, adhering to relevant laws and regulations
  • Submit timely returns to revenue authorities, including tax returns and other statutory submissions
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), production output, and stock levels to optimize business efficiency
  • Prepare reports and shipping documentation to meet business needs
  • Handle general office duties, including data entry, purchase orders, reception, and phone support
  • Support ad hoc administrative tasks as required to ensure seamless business operations

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll processing for 75 employees or more
  • Degree in Business or a related field, such as Accounting or Finance
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities in a busy environment
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with strong analytical and commercial acumen
  • Proficient in Excel and general IT systems, with the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Able to think proactively and provide solutions to complex problems, with a continuous improvement mindset
