Job Title:
Assistant Director of Nursing Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in a nursing home setting. This is a full-time permanent position that requires a high level of clinical expertise and leadership skills.

About the Role:
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing management, with experience working in older persons care or nursing home care. They will be responsible for leading the nursing team, developing and implementing nursing policies, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Lead the nursing team and provide guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and Health Act Regulations 2013
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of care

Requirements:
- Registered Nurse on NMBI live register
- 3 years post-registration experience in a relevant field
- Hold a recognised Managerial Qualification (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications)
- Clinical experience working in older persons care or nursing home care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
